Job Summary
A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel (Employment & Litigation).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to the People team on employment-related matters and compliance with employment laws
- Manage employment and commercial litigation, including overseeing outside counsel and developing legal strategies
- Assist with negotiation and review of SaaS agreements and other commercial contracts
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in-house counsel experience
- Deep expertise in U.S. employment law and experience in managing litigation
- Exposure to SaaS contracting and commercial transactions
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
