Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chef Instructor.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates engaging, learner-centered instruction to achieve course objectives
• Coaches at-risk students by developing success plans and providing support
• Maintains communication with students and collaborates with internal teams to enhance academic outcomes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate Degree in applicable occupational area or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time equivalent employment experience in the occupational teaching area if no formal education is attained
• Previous teaching experience in online or residential settings preferred
• Industry certification such as Certified Executive Chef (CEC) or Certified Executive Pastry Chef (CEPC) preferred
• Baccalaureate Degree required for general education instructors with relevant subject matter experience
