Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer (Remote Opportunity).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert communication and consultative support on system security certification and accreditation using the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, including documentation, control implementation, and stakeholder coordination
• Conduct security compliance evaluations and risk assessments, utilizing security evaluation tools to identify vulnerabilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Information Security experience, with at least 3 years in Cybersecurity and Cloud Security at a large government agency
• Experience in leading security activities and developing cybersecurity artifacts using the Risk Management Framework
• Proficient in security compliance evaluations and alignment with NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls
• Must possess ISC2 CISSP certification and one or more of the following: IAT II, IAM II, or IASAE II certifications
• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
