Data Governance Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Data Governance & Retention - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Data Governance Council and execute its roadmap decisions
• Oversee enterprise data-retention schedules and data-lifecycle management
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to embed data-governance policies and drive compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in data governance and compliance; 3+ years in a leadership role
• Certificates such as CDMP, CIPP/US, or PMP preferred
• Hands-on experience with Atlan or similar data catalog platforms
• Strong knowledge of U.S. data-privacy and retention regulations
