Data Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Platform Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices, APIs, and tooling for data ingestion and configuration
• Implement event-driven integrations and optimize data persistence using MongoDB and SQL Server
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, resilient, and scalable platforms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in backend or full-stack roles
• Proficient in Node.js and experienced with Apache Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms
• Strong database skills with MongoDB and SQL Server, including schema design and performance tuning
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
