Database Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Database Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure new software and hardware, including server networks and firewalls
• Monitor system performance and manage user accounts and security permissions
• Administer AWS Aurora PostgreSQL and Oracle database environments, including data migration and performance optimization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 6 years of experience, or a High School Diploma and 12 years of experience
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government agency level clearance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator (Oracle and Postgres)
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL configuration, tuning, and optimization
