Job Summary
A company is looking for a Deputy Chief of Programs - Government Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and implement a Government Affairs strategy to engage local elected and appointed officials
- Monitor and analyze local governments' policy and litigation activities to inform engagement strategies
- Supervise the Director of Organizing and manage relationships with government-facing organizations
Required Qualifications
- At least 10 years of work experience, with 2-3+ years in a management role preferred
- Experience in electoral campaigns, public/government affairs, or with elected officials
- Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Law degree or experience with legal advocacy teams is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of local government operations and political dynamics
