A company is looking for an Editorial Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a project coordinator/liaison on fiction titles across the Landmark editors
- Assist in the creative development of books, products, and features
- Conduct industry and market research to determine marketplace trends and project strength
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of publishing experience preferred, including internships and freelance work
- Bachelor of Arts degree preferred but not required
- Exhibit initiative, leadership, and a strong desire to grow in book and product development
- Strong knowledge of book production processes from conception to publication is a strong asset
- Excellent grammar skills and attention to detail are essential for this role
