Export Control Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Export Control Professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate classification and guidance for imported and exported goods
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize classification processes and implement automated solutions
• Provide analytical support for classification determinations and elevate issues to management as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or a related field, or a high school diploma with significant experience
• Three years of experience in export control or related fields, or eight years of relevant experience with a high school diploma
• Experience reviewing engineering documentation and understanding bills of material
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel for data analysis and process optimization
• Knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, General Rules of Interpretation, and Export Administration Regulations
