Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior FinOps Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate insights and leverage cost and usage data to optimize departmental spending
• Lead discussions with cloud vendors on pricing and manage commitment coverage for rate optimization
• Develop training programs and mentor junior analysts to enhance understanding of cloud costs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field
• Seven years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence Engineer, including three years in Cloud FinOps at an enterprise scale
• Three years of technical or management experience with AWS and data visualization practices
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience crafting reliable queries across complex data sources
• FinOps Certified Practitioner
