Florida Licensed Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Electrical Substation Engineer to support high-voltage electrical substation design in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and review of electrical substation design drawings for 13-500 kV systems
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and manage the electrical scope of work, including budget and schedule monitoring
• Coordinate with other disciplines and mentor junior engineers while preparing engineering reports and specifications

Required Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Degree from a recognized university
• Professional Engineer (PE) designation or ability to obtain registration
• 8-15 years of experience in high-voltage substation engineering
• Experience designing substations for 13-500 kV systems
• Knowledge of industry standards including ANSI, IEEE, NEMA
