Fraud Investigator II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SIU Investigator II.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive investigations of claims suspected of fraud, including complex cases with multiple claims and providers
• Investigate claims with indicators of potential misrepresentation through document examination, witness interviews, and forensic coordination
• Testify in court proceedings and provide training and support to claims staff regarding fraud awareness and investigation

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance/self-insured fraud investigations, preferably in automobile injury and property damage claims
• Fraud Claim Law Specialist certification, Certified Fraud Examiner designation, CPCU designation, or relevant certification preferred
• Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to fraud handling
• Experience conducting Examinations Under Oath independently
• Knowledge of telematics data and forensic report interpretation related to vehicle systems
