Job Summary
A company is looking for a SIU Investigator II.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive investigations of claims suspected of fraud, including complex cases with multiple claims and providers
- Investigate claims with indicators of potential misrepresentation through document examination, witness interviews, and forensic coordination
- Testify in court proceedings and provide training and support to claims staff regarding fraud awareness and investigation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance/self-insured fraud investigations, preferably in automobile injury and property damage claims
- Fraud Claim Law Specialist certification, Certified Fraud Examiner designation, CPCU designation, or relevant certification preferred
- Strong understanding of laws and regulations related to fraud handling
- Experience conducting Examinations Under Oath independently
- Knowledge of telematics data and forensic report interpretation related to vehicle systems
