Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls regarding billing inquiries and collection activities
- Perform collection activities on outstanding patient balances and offer payment arrangements
- Research patient complaints and inquiries, documenting actions taken and keeping patients informed
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience in collections, customer service, or business office
- Proficiency in using personal computers and relevant software
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle functions, including insurance billing and collections
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines
