Job Summary
A company is looking for a Head of Social Media to drive the vision, execution, and growth of its social presence across major platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, Facebook, and Threads
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary social team to drive KPIs across awareness, engagement, traffic, video performance, and subscription growth
- Develop and execute social-specific content plans for major football tentpole events and monitor engagement with the football community
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in social media strategy and execution, with at least 2+ years in a management role
- Deep knowledge of NFL and college football, along with familiarity with the sports betting landscape
- Proven ability to grow and manage high-performing teams including social strategists, designers, and video editors
- Hands-on experience developing platform-specific strategies for major social media platforms
- Strong grasp of social media analytics and performance tools to inform decisions and improve output
