Job Summary
A company is looking for a Member Advocate I to act as a liaison between members and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to member complaints and grievances, identifying and resolving access barriers
- Investigate access and cultural sensitivity issues raised by various stakeholders
- Participate in community organizations to understand members' healthcare needs and update educational materials
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare environment
- Medicare and/or Medicaid experience preferred
