Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote LTC Pharmacy Adjudication Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with communities regarding expensive, non-formulary, and incomplete medication orders, providing alternatives as necessary
- Maintain detailed records of orders requiring follow-up and coordinate with community staff for clarifications and changes
- Review Medicare D rejections and prior authorizations, ensuring successful adjudication of claims while performing insurance and billing clerical duties
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification (CPhT) as per State requirements
- Minimum one year of data entry experience
- General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology
