Incident Response Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Incident Response Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate investigation and response efforts throughout the Incident Response lifecycle
• Acquire and analyze endpoint and network artifacts, volatile memory, and malicious files
• Document investigation actions and prepare formal Incident Reports

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field
• 8-12 years of related experience in incident detection and response, malware analysis, or computer forensics
• In-depth knowledge of the Incident Response life cycle and Operating Systems (Windows/Linux)
• Favorable completion of a 5-year Background Investigation
• At least one relevant certification (e.g., SANS GIAC, CISSP)
