Information Technology Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Technology Specialist to support NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud migration and application Dockerization for seamless deployment
• Daily operational support and troubleshooting for various applications
• Manage version control using GitLab and automate CI/CD processes

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree in a related field, preferably in computer science or engineering
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Linux systems and command line interfaces
• Familiarity with Unix shell scripting (Bash, Bourne, etc.)
• Industry-recognized certification in cloud computing is preferred
