Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Representative to join their team remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact insurance carriers and patients to obtain payments on outstanding claims
- Investigate and resolve denied claims, identifying trends and root causes of payment delays
- Prepare documentation for appeals and ensure all accounts are set up correctly in the system
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in insurance follow-up
- 2+ years of working knowledge of EOB, COB, Remits, and CMS 1500
- 2+ years of experience in appeal writing and processing
- Knowledge of CPT & Diagnosis Coding, Medical Terminology, and basic Anatomy
