Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Contact Center Representative - Insurance Recovery Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls related to billing inquiries and collections
- Perform collection activities and offer payment arrangements for outstanding balances
- Research patient complaints and inquiries, documenting actions taken and escalating issues as necessary
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience in collections, customer service, or business office
- CPAR, CPC, or CPB certification is required
- Proficiency in computer programs necessary for job duties
- Solid knowledge of Revenue Cycle functions, including insurance billing and collections
