Job Summary
A company is looking for a PFS Enterprise Insurance Verifier.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains productivity and accuracy standards in verifying patient healthcare benefits
- Acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and insurance to secure necessary authorizations
- Ensures timely precertification and authorization processes while updating patient accounts in the system
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Experience: Three years in a hospital or healthcare facility in registration, patient accounts, or physician billing
- Combination of experience and education may be considered (AA Degree = one year; Bachelor's Degree = two years)
- Strong knowledge of insurance authorization and precertification processes is preferred
- Proficient in Epic or similar electronic health record systems
