Lead Engineer - Microgrid Applications

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Engineer - Microgrid and BESS Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide resilient power system solutions utilizing various resource types to enhance renewable utilization and reduce operating costs
• Collaborate with manufacturers to develop innovative designs and manage interconnection applications with utilities
• Oversee engineering subconsultants and construction partners to ensure project objectives are met

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power and relevant experience (8+ years for lead position, 4+ years for senior position)
• Design experience in Distribution, Substation Protection & Control, or Substation Physical
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as NEC and IEEE
• Technical understanding of DER technologies including solar, storage, and generators
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam
