Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily reinsurance accounting activities, including transaction recording and ledger maintenance
- Interpret and operationalize complex reinsurance contracts in line with accounting standards
- Prepare for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and insights
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in reinsurance accounting within the insurance industry
- 5+ years of experience in reinsurance, claims, or accounting
- Established technical knowledge of reinsurance arrangements and accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems; experience with reinsurance tools is advantageous
