Licensed Oncology Social Worker

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Oncology Social Worker - Bilingual in Spanish Required - fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized blood cancer education, patient advocacy, and psychosocial support to patients and families
• Empower patients and caregivers to communicate effectively with their healthcare teams and promote self-advocacy
• Stay current on blood cancer research and represent the organization at professional meetings and initiatives

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's in social work, health education, nursing (BSN or RN), or a related field with current licensure
• Bilingual in Spanish, both speaking and writing
• Three years of experience in a healthcare delivery setting, preferably in cancer care
• Previous oncology experience, particularly in hematology, is preferred
• Ability to assist patients and caregivers with compassion in emotionally difficult circumstances
