Licensed Specification Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specification Writer IV to produce architectural specifications for various complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce Project Manuals and author architectural sections for inclusion in the Project Manual
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while mentoring less experienced Specification Writers
• Review and revise project-specific Keynotes and ensure technical specifications are complete and coordinated

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a relevant field
• Minimum of 8 years of related experience, including at least 5 years in specifications writing
• Current Architectural, Engineering license or CSI certification
• Advanced knowledge of project delivery methods and building codes
• Familiarity with specification editing software and proficiency in relevant technical tools
