Mainframe Application Support Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe Application Support Engineer - CMOD Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance and proactively address issues across CMOD and Mobius applications
• Maintain and enhance technical documentation; identify gaps and ensure materials are current and well-organized
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and recurring problems efficiently

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application support or development
• Expertise in COBOL programming and CMOD development/administration
• Proficiency with JCL, MVS utilities, and DB2/SQL
• Experience with mainframe job scheduling tools
