Market Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Market Operations Specialist (International Remote Hire).

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and respond to emails and Jira tickets from clients
• Verify and monitor trading and clearing systems while investigating issues
• Liaise with Market Operations team members and other groups to resolve issues and perform ad-hoc project work

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of trade desk or operations desk experience at a broker dealer or exchange
• Experience supporting FIX and SBE Protocols
• Strong data analytics capabilities with the ability to write basic queries in SQL, Groovy, or Python
• Knowledge of U.S. equity markets, market structure, and clearing
• Willingness to obtain necessary licenses as directed by Compliance
