Maryland Licensed Digital Forensics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Digital Forensics Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations for cybersecurity incidents and perform forensic examinations on compromised systems
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support and create forensic root cause analysis reports
• Train junior analysts on SIEM tools and develop processes for security monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience; or an Associate degree with 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and SIEM tools, preferably Splunk Enterprise Security
• Knowledge of cyber forensics and incident handling best practices
• Experience with forensic image capture and analysis tools
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a fingerprint background check
