Maryland Licensed Intake Therapist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Therapist (Maryland License) - Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students and their guardians
• Collaborate with other therapists to ensure smooth transitions into services
• Provide culturally relevant counseling and maintain relationships with school personnel and families

Required Qualifications and Education

• Licensed as a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) without restrictions
• Minimum of 3 years of licensure in Maryland
• Additional licensure in specified states or eligibility to apply for state licensing immediately
• Ability to enroll with insurance companies including Medicaid and private payers
• Proficient in technology and clinical practice related to children's mental health
