Job Summary

A company is looking for an Auditor - Medicaid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audits cost reports, claims submissions, and performs ad-hoc focused audits
  • Identifies inherent and residual risks and conducts risk-based audits
  • Develops an understanding of the function to be audited and provides analysis of findings and improvements
Required Qualifications
  • 4 years with AS/AS; 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
  • Typically 2+ years of related experience in finance, accounting, or audit
  • Intermediate knowledge of internal audit policies and operating principles
  • Intermediate understanding of Medicare/Medicaid or healthcare auditing and their revenue cycles
