Medicaid Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicaid Support Specialist to assist consumers and family caregivers with Medicaid and Waiver enrollment and ongoing eligibility support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with state Medicaid agency professionals and case managers to facilitate Medicaid and Waiver applications
• Review applications to ensure eligibility for Careforth programs and provide alternative resources for ineligible families
• Collaborate with enrollment teams and caregivers to help families obtain appropriate coverage for Careforth programs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care or related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 4-6 years of experience in health care, including 2+ years with Medicaid and government programs
• Proven success in developing professional relationships with diverse groups
• Tech-savvy with strong MS Office skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Bi-lingual skills preferred
