Medical Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Specialist / Medical.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage billing processes related to cash collections and Accounts Receivable
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies
• Conduct Quality Assurance on claims and manage the Ready to Bill queue

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college is a plus
• 3 to 4 years of experience in medical billing, with knowledge of insurance reimbursement
• Experience auditing documentation for compliance with payer requirements
• Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred
• Familiarity with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding, and basic accounting practices
