Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Claims Billing Specialist (Unpostables).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage unpostables by researching and resolving unmatched records related to charges
• Oversee accounts receivable, analyzing aged AR and addressing root cause issues
• Investigate and resolve denials, including contacting payer representatives as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Medical Office training certificate, or relevant experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a medical billing office
• Experience with Athena EMR preferred
• Understanding of revenue cycle performance drivers and complex claims resolution
• Compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations is required
