Job Summary
A company is looking for a Departmental Technician for the Customer Requests, Eligibility Sub-Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Train staff and perform quality assurance activities for the eligibility processing of vital record applications
- Coordinate and monitor the processing of customer requests and manage filing systems
- Review and evaluate complex eligibility issues and propose policy changes related to vital records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High school education or equivalent
- One year of experience in administrative support activities at the 7-level or higher in state service
- Completion of two years of college may substitute for the experience requirement at the 7-level
- Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience requirements at the 8-level or E9-level
- Experience as a technician or paraprofessional may be considered for entry-level positions
