Job Summary

A company is looking for a Registered Nurse Pre-Service Coordinator, Thurs-Sun - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review pre-authorization requests for skilled nursing and rehabilitative services to determine medical necessity
• Coordinate patient transitions from community or acute settings to appropriate levels of care
• Educate facilities on the pre-service denial process and participate in clinical phone queues to meet service level agreements

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of residence
• 3+ years of clinical experience
• Experience with physician engagement and crucial conversations
• Ability to work Thursday-Sunday from 7am-6pm CST
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and longer hours as needed
