Job Summary

A company is looking for a Department Chair of Nursing Doctorate (remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide innovative leadership for the Health Administration and Nursing Department, fostering a collaborative and academically rigorous environment
• Oversee the CCNE-accredited Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program and manage departmental faculty to ensure excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the department, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and supporting programmatic growth

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States
• Graduate degree in Nursing and an academic doctorate in Nursing, Health Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic administration of graduate nursing programs
• Minimum of 7 years of full-time graduate teaching experience in Nursing and/or Health Administration
• Demonstrated experience with curriculum development, assessment, and maintaining CCNE accreditation
