Mortgage Closing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mortgage Closing Specialist I to manage the closing process for loans and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with various parties to gather information for Closing Disclosure (CD) issuance and manage pipeline reporting
• Review and verify loan files to ensure compliance with State and Federal guidelines, including obtaining necessary documentation
• Maintain communication with Settlement Agents and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless closing experience and adherence to deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree plus a minimum of 1-year prior business or closing experience, or 3 years of combined higher education and work experience
• Strong PC skills with knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software
• Ability to make sound decisions based on provided information
• Versatility and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced mortgage environment
• Ability to function within time constraints while prioritizing workload
