Job Summary
A company is looking for a Safety and Loss Control Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts loss analysis and on-site safety surveys to assess policy holder safety efforts
- Prepares reports of findings and makes recommendations to management for safety improvements
- Provides training and guidance to policyholders and safety trainees regarding safety programs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field required
- Preference for candidates with a master's degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene
- Two years of experience in occupational safety management or consulting preferred
- Certifications such as CSP, CIH, ARM, or ASP are preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and risk management principles is essential
