Job Summary

A company is looking for a Safety and Loss Control Consultant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts loss analysis and on-site safety surveys to assess policy holder safety efforts
  • Prepares reports of findings and makes recommendations to management for safety improvements
  • Provides training and guidance to policyholders and safety trainees regarding safety programs
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or a related field required
  • Preference for candidates with a master's degree in Safety or Industrial Hygiene
  • Two years of experience in occupational safety management or consulting preferred
  • Certifications such as CSP, CIH, ARM, or ASP are preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and risk management principles is essential
