Job Summary
A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Care Advocate - Remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial concurrent reviews for higher levels of care, including inpatient and residential admissions
- Manage inpatient and outpatient mental health/substance abuse cases throughout the treatment plan
- Coordinate benefits and transitions between various areas of care, consulting with facility staff or outpatient care providers
Required Qualifications:
- Licensed clinician with a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Counseling, or an RN with 2 years of behavioral health experience
- Active and unrestricted license to practice independently in the state of residence
- 3+ years of post-Master's experience in a related mental health environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Dedicated office space and access to high-speed internet service
