NLP Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an NLP Engineer II to develop advanced AI solutions in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, clinicians, and engineers to define NLP product features and translate requirements into technical specifications
• Build and improve core NLP functionality, including training and deploying machine learning models
• Monitor performance and accuracy of deployed models, iterating based on user feedback and data drift

Required Qualifications

• 2 years or more of experience in NLP, machine learning, or data science roles
• Strong Python fundamentals and Git-based development workflow
• Understanding of classical NLP methods and hands-on experience with Hugging Face Transformers and spaCy
• Working knowledge of PyTorch and experience adapting open-source models for domain-specific tasks
• Exposure to Spark or Databricks for large-scale data processing
