Job Summary
A company is looking for an Operations Technician II to monitor, maintain, and manage networks while providing technical support and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain response time to alarms and customer calls while documenting network failures and maintenance activities
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve trouble situations, managing multiple trouble reports and guiding restoration efforts
- Provide support to technicians during alarm and outage conditions, ensuring follow-up and closure of assigned trouble tickets
Required Qualifications
- Three plus years of related experience
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia platforms
- Knowledge of Layers 2 & 3 switch and router configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience in isolating telecom equipment trouble
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
