Packaging Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Packaging Engineer to lead new product development in the consumer health and personal care sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of blow-molded plastic bottles and support flexible packaging projects
• Conduct line trials and packaging optimization on the production floor
• Create and manage packaging specifications while collaborating cross-functionally with various teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in packaging engineering
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with blow-molded rigid plastic bottles
• Experience in Consumer Goods, Cosmetics & Personal Care, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, or Food & Beverage industries
• Strong understanding of packaging validation processes and familiarity with ASTM/ISTA testing standards
