A company is looking for a Patient Access Advocate I.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform primary registration of patient accounts and ensure accurate demographic and insurance information
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with insurance benefits and financial concerns
  • Maintain compliance with Medicare guidelines and document actions taken for effective follow-up
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting or 1 year of customer service experience
  • Ability to pass the Patient Access Academy with a score of 85% or higher within 6 months of start
  • Preferred certifications include CHAA, CHAM, or equivalent
  • Basic understanding of insurance, medical terminology, and Microsoft Office products
