A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist to provide advanced services to patients, providers, and caregivers for manufacturer-sponsored programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide billing and coding support, claims assistance, and prior authorization tracking
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer requests in a timely manner
- Establish expertise in payer trends and coordinate with service providers to ensure compliance with program policies
Required Qualifications and Education
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of four years of experience in customer service, medical billing, coding, or healthcare-related fields
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- Prior knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
