Patient Account Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative-Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve patient accounts, including contacting payors and patients
• Document account activities and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
• Assist with special projects and communicate any issues related to account processing

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
• 1-4 years of experience in medical claims and/or hospital collections
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
• Understanding of the revenue cycle process and familiarity with insurance types and billing forms
