Payroll Accounting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Accounting Specialist to manage payroll accounting functions and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate payroll transaction records
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and prepare general ledger entries for payroll accounts
• Implement and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, or 5 years' combined higher education and/or relevant work experience
• Experience in a multi-state tax environment
• Knowledge of GAAP fundamentals
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in personal computer applications, including industry-specific software
