Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Accounting Specialist to manage payroll accounting functions and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate payroll transaction records
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and prepare general ledger entries for payroll accounts
- Implement and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, or 5 years' combined higher education and/or relevant work experience
- Experience in a multi-state tax environment
- Knowledge of GAAP fundamentals
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficient in personal computer applications, including industry-specific software
