Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage and process payroll for employees working on government contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage employee timekeeping records, ensuring accurate reporting of hours worked and leave taken
  • Process payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, as well as government contracting regulations
  • Generate and analyze payroll-related reports for internal use and compliance with government agencies


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of proven experience as a Payroll Administrator
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll legislation
  • Proficient in MS Office and payroll software, particularly Unanet Project Portfolio Financials and UKG UltiPro
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education in payroll laws and technologies
