A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll and compliance for employees and contractors across the U.S. and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls for employees and monthly contractor payments
- Manage state tax registrations and ensure compliance with jurisdictional regulations
- Prepare documentation for audits and manage year-end filings
Required Qualifications
- 5-6+ years of end-to-end payroll experience with U.S. and Canadian payroll
- Experience managing payroll for 1,000+ employees and 300+ contractors
- Strong understanding of multi-jurisdiction payroll laws
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based payroll and HRIS systems
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
