Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processes for employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for 250+ employees and contractors
- Ensure accurate payroll information and manage timecards using HR/payroll software
- Assist HR with new hire paperwork and manage terminations within payroll software
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of payroll experience required; Quickbooks experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace products (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Experience in reconciling payroll transactions with accounting
- Familiarity with government compliance related to payroll practices
