Pharmacy Business Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Business Analyst - Conversion & Prior Auth SME.

Key Responsibilities

• Support PBM or drug rebate implementations and configurations
• Assist in the implementation of pharmacy payer systems and perform updates to pharmacy benefits
• Act as a liaison between operations staff, clients, and technical teams to define and document pharmacy business requirements

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a pharmacy business analyst or pharmacy technician role, with Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
• Knowledge of computer programming concepts related to configuration and data conversion analysis
• Experience working with drug file data or NCPDP guidelines
• Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL
• Familiarity with prior authorization processes and criteria preferred
